Heroes and Villains of a Devoted Youth is an ever-growing collection of nerd-culture paintings, representing subjects and ideas drawn from early video-games, comic books, and classic (and modern) science fiction and fantasy literature and movies. The first thirty-two works were created for my debut show in 2007, of the same title. The show was hosted by my friend Joel Pfannenstiel, in his store AstroKitty Comics and More in Lawrence Kansas.
