Love the applique, been tinkering with it myself. Mostly orders for baby clothes and such. My idea for frames is to leave them in the wood. Maybe paint them a black or such, but I thinks its a new twist on the old. Kisses to you and the wifey!Margo Tinninhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14925552221802339052noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-47325352847112619.post-29296722865564878342010-02-04T08:23:44.486-06:002010-02-04T08:23:44.486-06:00I've been pondering that very question! I thought first about frames with glass, then I wondered if the glass would ruin the effect whilst protecting them from the inevitable onslaught of dust! THEN I thought the hoops were simple and elegantly rustic (though also fragile), and I've also been considering adding to the 'hand-made-edness' by crafting elaborate, faux-fancy card-board frames. Like, cutting cardboard in layers with a razor to make them look like the heavily filigreed gilded frames of fancy land. What do YOU think, Joey?benrumhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14096807567390486514noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-47325352847112619.post-69532304309829156322010-02-04T08:05:00.119-06:002010-02-04T08:05:00.119-06:00BEN! it is so great to see what you've been up...BEN! it is so great to see what you've been up too (besides marrying the purtiest gal around!)
